In the interest of providing the best possible service in writing new business, the Lawyer's Protector Plan will no longer provide rate indications on ballpark submissions * beginning with effective dates on or after March 1, 2007.

After much research, the LPP has found that our hit ratios on new business submissions other than ballparks are quite good, but the same is not true for ballpark submissions.

We will continue to use our widely popular one-page Bridge Application, from which we can quote and bind coverage using a competitor's new business application with a representation statement. It is an easy way to write new business with us by using the application that the firm has already completed!

Quotes will only be provided for submissions that are either: (1) an XL New Business Application (from which you get our fastest service) (2) another carrier's new business application submitted with a signed Bridge Application (we are not accepting ARCH applications in CA) or (3) if you're submitting another carrier's current renewal application, we will need last year's new business application with a signed Bridge Application.
